HYDROPACK Biodiversity 0-35

The pre-cultivated HYDROPACK® Biodiversity tray is an all-in-one roof greening solution, patented and subject to Technical Approval up to 35% slope if sloping.

A complete greening solution, the HYDROPACK® planter is composed of 4 layers:

  1. A recycled HDPE and PP tub, 400 x 600 x 90 mm, with a honeycombed water reservoir of 8 L/m2 at the bottom and a drainage surface perforated with 500 holes/m2 in relief. A clip system allows the bins to be attached to each other. A 3 cm layer of i.D LITE A clay balls is placed in the cells. Grain size 8-16 mm. Dry density: 450 kg/m3.
  2. A 100 g/m2 non-woven polyester filter mat, permeable, tear-resistant and rot-proof.
  3. i.D FLORE E: 6 cm layer of mixed substrate specifically designed for green roofs to retain water in summer and rapidly evacuate excess rainwater in winter. The substrate is composed of mineral rock (pozzolan, expanded clay, etc.) with a grain size of 0-16 mm and stable properties over time. Organic matter content: 5% of dry mass. Water retention capacity: 40% of volume.
  4. Pre-cultivated plant cover min. 6 months with a minimum coverage rate of 70% on delivery. Composed of sedums and perennials, with or without woody and herbaceous plants, suitable for green roofs.

HYDROPACK® Biodiversity can be installed on any substrate, whatever the roof configuration. It must be installed over a root-resistant waterproofing membrane and laid in accordance with the provisions of DTU 43.1, 43.3, 43.4 and 43.5. ESDS sheet available.
