- when the plant cover chosen is composed of plants with high water requirements (shrubs, trees, perennials, etc.).
- when exposure to sun or wind, or the local climate of your roof (rainfall, rain frequency, summer temperatures, wind, etc.) are not sufficient to ensure the survival of plants between two rainy episodes.
- When the roof slope exceeds 20%. In this case, the water reserves of the vegetation complex are greatly reduced.
