Four key areas of expertise, a comprehensive offering at the crossroads of plants, engineering and architecture
Over the years, Le Prieuré has also built up a comprehensive offering, integrating four key areas of expertise to support all building greening projects, from the simplest to the most complex. With innovation as its DNA, Le Prieuré has been revolutionizing the greening of buildings for 30 years, with unprecedented solutions for managing rainwater, greening pitched roofs and walls, or more recently for integrating biodiversity and energy production on roofs, to become a veritable ecosystem of expertise serving the most demanding architectural and environmental projects.

History and expertise
Since 1840, the history of Le Prieuré has been written in Moisy, in the south of the Paris Basin, on the grounds of a farm set in a 16th-century priory, with its dimière barn and Gothic porch (symbolized in the company logo). Passed down from generation to generation by the Lamé-Lory family, this farm has never ceased to evolve, combining tradition, innovation and a vision of the future.
For over a century, until the end of the 1950s, the business combined livestock (sheep and dairy cattle) and mixed farming (wheat, oats, beet, alfalfa, vegetables). Between the two world wars, it diversified into seed production and trading, with the installation of grain sorting and storage facilities.
A pioneer in mechanization, with the arrival of tractors in the late 1930s, and then in irrigation (from 1960), the farm underwent a radical transformation to meet the new agricultural challenges of the time, refocusing on field crops.

An international adventure
Le Prieuré’s expertise now extends far beyond France’s borders, with subsidiaries in North America and Spain, and partners in several European countries. Le Prieuré’s major innovations (Hydropack, Acropack & Acromat, Oasis, Oasis Biosolar, etc.) quickly attracted the interest of foreign players. To meet these expectations, Le Prieuré has established itself in various markets:

In 2010, the company set up a subsidiary in North America. It produces and distributes the Hydropack tub and Oasis solutions.

In 2017, it set up in Spain. At a nursery near Girona, Le Prieuré Iberica produces pre-cultivated tubs and mats, as well as pre-cultivated gabions for wall greening. The subsidiary also has its own teams to install and maintain the planting solutions.

Le Prieuré is also present in various European countries through commercial partnerships.
