The Product
The Professional Rules require the presence of a filtering layer between the substrate and the drainage layer.
The advantages of LP FILTRE :
- Its permeable, non-woven polypropylene fabric provides excellent filtration capacity, high tensile strength and puncture resistance.
- LP FILTRE maintains the drainage capacity of the lower layer. The layer is permeable to water and plant roots, preventing the substrate from leaching.
LP FILTRE is positioned on all drainage layers that do not incorporate the filter mat (POLYDRAIN PLP400, MULTIDRAIN and LP LITE), thus preventing the migration of fine particles contained in the substrate to the drainage system.
In the case of an inverted roof, LP FILTRE or LP PROTECT is essential to ensure separation between drainage and insulation.
