Plants with the Végétal Local® label
Our approach
Le Prieuré is committed to preserving local biodiversity. For this reason, we have dedicated part of our production to the cultivation of plants native to the southern Paris basin.
Our production was certified “Végétal Local” in 2024, and this recognition makes us the first and only producer of native plants for green roofs to be awarded the “Végétal Local” label.
Our labelled micro-pods are young plants grown in honeycomb culture plates (diameter 1.5-4 cm and height 3-5 cm).
We recommend planting 15 to 20 micro-clumps/m².
This technique is recommended for small to medium-scale projects, and/or projects with a landscape design (creation of “massifs”).
Végétal Local micro-sprinklers are suitable for flat roofs and pitched roofs up to 35%.
Can be complemented with fragment sowing and/or bucket planting to achieve faster coverage (see LP Fragments and LP Godets product pages).
