Tasks:
Monitoring the production of part of the nursery:
- Manage plant production activities, from sowing to shipping
- Anticipate and organize the maintenance of the nursery: weeding, mowing, maintenance of the surroundings, watering…
- Site preparation for planting
- Ensuring fertilization
- Watch out for disease.
All with a focus on quality and achieving results.
Monitoring production quality :
- Monitor production quality with a customer service mindset
- Correct production deviations
- Organize and optimize tidying and cleaning of nursery and production areas
- Implement procedures and monitor quality indicators according to the priorities defined by the Production Manager.
Safety monitoring for production operations :
- Risk assessment and reporting
- Propose and implement an action plan
- Implement procedures for production activities: risk management and prevention, workstation data sheets
- Update safety procedures, in particular with regard to PPE, train employees in their correct use and monitor their wearing.
Profile required:
- Training from BTSA to Engineer in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy
- Experience in a similar position in plant production or horticulture is essential
- Good horticultural and agronomic knowledge (e.g. chemical weeding)
- General knowledge and sensitivity to quality and safety issues
- Ability to manage a team of 1 to 10 employees and to work as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills, pedagogue and diplomat
- Rigor, particularly in the management and use of equipment
- Highly organized and methodical
- Ability to formalize

Remuneration: 37 to 43 K€ depending on profile and experience.
