3 ways to green your Sédi’Folia and Méli’Folia systems

For immediate results: pre-cultivated matting
Cultivated in our nursery, the matting ensures a uniform coverage rate of at least 70% from the moment it is laid.

For results in 6 to 12 months: planting with cups or micro-cups
Different varieties of sedums or perennials in micro-cups or cups are planted on the roof at the time of installation at a rate of 10/20 units per m².

For results in 18 to 24 months: sow seeds or fragments
An economical solution, sowing sedum fragments will cover the roof around 18 months after planting.

Do you still have questions about green roofs?
Is a green roof suitable for all climates and orientations?
Not all climates are conducive to green roofs. Wind, cold, exposure, orientation and frost are all variables to be analyzed when designing a green roof.
Just like in a garden, plants must be selected for their ability to adapt and thrive where they are planted. With this in mind, our pre-cultivated solutions offer a wide range of plant cover options. For creative roofs, our design office will select the plant palette best suited to your project.
Pre-cultivated mats offer the advantage of having spent several months in culture at our nursery. The plants that have grown there have developed their root system, guaranteeing good establishment. Pre-cultivated solutions are therefore ready for direct installation on roofs, without any intervention on your part.
In general, green roofs are designed to be maintenance-free. Our trained teams will offer you the corresponding maintenance services.
